Stories that remain.
From enchanting worlds to thought-provoking essays.
WELCOME
My name is Ted Dybaer. I’m an independent author and writer.
On this website, I publish my writing for free and with minimal advertising,
because good stories can all too easily get lost in today’s overwhelming flood of books.
Thoughts, that came.
Between everyday life, society, and the future: thoughts and perspectives that go beyond the headlines.
Current & Upcoming
I’m currently continuing to improve the website to make it clearer, more user-friendly, and easier to discover through search engines. It takes time, but the goal is to make the stories, blog posts, and Ted News easier to find in the long run. An English version of the site is also in development.
I’m also introducing stretch goals as a community project. If you particularly enjoy a story, you can help fund professional covers and illustrations. This will make it possible to gradually create more ambitious projects while keeping the stories freely accessible. Help me turn this site into something special.
The next major project is already planned for 2027: Warden of the Dark Strings. Publication is scheduled to begin in January, adding another story to the site.
I’m Ted Dybaer, an independent author and storyteller.
On this website, I publish stories, satire, and thoughts on society and everyday life — free to read and with minimal advertising.
Many of my projects are created as a one-man project. AI supports me with language polishing, proofreading, web formatting, and selected visual elements.
The stories and blog posts themselves are written by me.
Yours,
Ted Dybaer
